San Angelo earned the title True Western Town as published by True West Magazine in 2022. Since then, we have maintained a top 5 position year after year.

This painting/mosaic was created by Artist Julie Raymond, Gigi Perez-Langley, and community volunteers who collaborated on this piece. The Cowboy is donning a black cowboy hat, black and white suit, and holding a beverage.

 

The mural is 8' by 8' tall and is located on 307 S. Chadbourne. He represents both the cowboys and the creatives coming together as our community culture in San Angelo, TX.
