Dog Walker

The Dog Walker is a six-foot sculpture with a chain attached to a dog who stands around two feet tall. This sculpture is part of the larger way finding project with "Shine the Light" sculptures. All of the sculptures in the "Shine the Light" series were created by W3, a Workcamp that volunteered prisoners to help Art in Uncommon Places from 2016 - 2019. These men, created these sculptures using iron and welding skills.

The Dog Walker is placed on the path just at the top of the ramp from the river. It's a reminder that the ramp leads to a great walking and biking path, the Concho River Corridor.
