Digital Artist Joni Abel created The San Angelo Lens to be placed in the window of the old "Eyes of Texas Optical" store on S. Chadbourne. Today the abandoned building needed a new lens, this dog "Winston" is there to greet pedestrians as they walk past.

 

As a nod to the once optical business, the name The San Angelo Lens is a true look into the history of downtown businesses. Winston holds a lot of history when you stop and take a closer look!
