Welcome To
Our Mission
To create inspiring, prominent and lasting works of art to gift to the city of San Angelo for all to enjoy and utilize, particularly those who are under served, by displaying works in unique and uncommon places throughout the city.
Our Goal
To strengthen community ties by enhancing the visual presence of public art in San Angelo and the Concho Valley, thus continuing to brand us as a creative city.
A Peace Pole Garden will be created by 20 local Artists and sponsored by Art in Uncommon Places. A Peace Pole is an internationally-recognized symbol of the hopes and dreams of the entire human family, standing vigil in silent prayer for peace on earth. Each Peace Pole will bear the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth". There are tens of thousands of Peace Poles in nearly every country in the world dedicated as monuments to peace.
